Look into the eyes of the man who's knows he's left the atmosphere To fly away forever from this green and azure sphere Is he happy now that he's alone? Look into the eyes of the man who finds the clouds beneath his feet Through every waking moment he is sleeping in the street Is he happy in the great unknown? All he'll ever need are the sun and the moon to keep him company How can you go on when the man and his mind are already gone? Oh, look into the eyes of the man who thinks he has no more to say His outlook is impeded by the thoughts that you betray But he's happy now that he's alone All alone Something in the way that he turns his head and tells you, "Yes, I know" It makes it clear he doesn't care if you should stay or go Are you happy living in his lies? Something in the way that he palms your hand and holds the other closed What is it he's so afraid will soon become exposed? Is he happy? Look into his eyes All he'll ever need are the sun and the moon to keep him company How can you go on when the man and his mind are already gone? Oh, look into the eyes of the man who builds himself a golden throne Who gives pernicious rules and wants the stars all for his own Are you happy living in his lies? All his lies Take a moment, breath through it all Take a step away from the thrall Take my hand; I won't let you fall again So, look into the eyes of a man who knows exactly who you are And tell me that I'm wrong to think you're better off by far I'll make you happy

Fallen 05:45
Fallen Cold and formulaic is the ending Fallen Answers faded, nothing worth defending Wherever and whoever you may be Don't lose your faith while waiting out for me I know it seems like time has passed us by But resolutions happen if we try Fallen Driving through the echoes of the distant Fallen Serpentine and kidnapped by the instant It's complicated, dying to be free But I haven't given up yet, you will see There's nothing left that I desire more Than proving this is worth our waiting for So, here I stand Sinking into dark horizons Just as planned Knowing on the other side of time and infinity I will find you there So, here I stand I've fallen Fallen Shapeless waves of disillusioned lovers Fallen Holding, waiting, wrapped within the covers Whenever and however you may be Don't loose the grip, there's plenty more to see I know it seems like time is moving fast But I know how to make the moment last Fallen Thorny and unfeeling is the reason Fallen Villains tearing into every season It's complicated if you've lost the name But I know that's not a reason to be tame I want this more than anything on earth But how can desperation change the worth? So, here I stand Sinking into dark horizons Just as planned Knowing on the other side of time and infinity I will find you there So, here I stand I've fallen

Down on the corner of Empire Avenue There is a boy who is no more than 22 He blows on his saxophone, making his revenue Honking away like a Nunavut caribou Oh, drop in a dime and he'll play like an ingenue Down on the corner of Empire Avenue Down in the dark he continues to saturate See how the shadows are starting to permeate They dance to the rhythms as melodies indicate Moving to music that no one can replicate Oh, dressed to the nines in his outfit of navy blue Down on the corner of Empire Avenue And I know that you feel it too And the music is coming for you And you're losing your field of view And you're tasting the residue Of things that have past, nothing will last, life is too fast Nothing will stop the incessant crusade Of the boy and the music he's already played Oh no! (Nothing will stop the incessant crusade Nothing will stop the incessant crusade) Down on the corner of Empire Avenue There is a boy who is no more than 22 And you know that you feel it too And the music is coming for you And you're losing your field of view And you're tasting the residue Of things that have past, nothing will last, life is too fast Nothing will stop the incessant crusade Of the boy and the music he's already played Oh no! (Nothing will stop the incessant crusade Nothing will stop the incessant crusade) Down on the corner of Empire Avenue Playing his way to the riverside overview (Somebody tell him exactly what's true Somebody tell him he's staging a coup) The boy is still playing and pushing to power through Taking the groove to an underground rendezvous (Somebody tell what he's going to do Somebody tell him the music is through) And the power he carries is very much overdo Down on the corner of Empire Avenue Honking away like a Nunavut caribou Down on the corner of Empire Avenue Such is the boy who is no more than 22 On Empire Avenue

Blue Moon 05:39
One night a blue eclipse occurred And we got snow in May The world turned white like ocean foam And scattered to the fray The trees turned clear and ceased to be And mountains turned to glass The rivers dried and disappeared It happened all so fast We walked on diamond-glittered earth Across the fallen sky Leaving footprints in the frozen sand Never asking why We didn't mind the fading sun Or the ringing in our ears And as the temperature declined It washed away our fears So, sing a little song Of a world apart from time Where nothing dies, where all is good The end of an uphill climb There are no tears, just falling stars We all stand hand in hand And music can be always heard Playing through the land The winter just kept coming Crisp and clear and bright The answer withered in our eyes Dying with the light We dissipated with the wind As the earth stood still A league of whispers zipping home To live upon the hill So, take the guitar in your hands And strum for me a tune A song of hope and happiness That reaches to the moon And let it bounce across the dome Where shadow turns to dawn Where spirit is as firm as stone And love is never gone Oh, love is never gone

Hazel Waits 04:57
He says, "I don't know what to say, Hazel, Time is running short My destination's waiting And the ship is leaving port" He wants to make her understand The Northern Lights are just at hand He says, "The secret in the sky, Hazel, Pulls me to the sea If I don't find an answer It will never set me free" He climbs aboard and waves goodbye She doesn't hear him softly cry, "Oh, Hazel, wait for me!" He starts to pull against the ocean With the compass in his palm Emotion wells within him As he pushes through the calm The salty brine engulfs him now The sweat is heavy on his brow And as he rides into the mystery He looks out at the swell The winds are blowing Southward And he tugs at his lapel He prays to see her face once more And calls out to the oceans roar, "Oh, Hazel, wait for me!" He says, "Let me put my hands against the sky And feel the universe I want to grasp the stars up in the dark And let the light disperse" And as he waltzed with planets Many miles from shore Never certain just exactly What it is he's searching for Hazel waits The waves begin to tumble And the clouds are turning black He falls against the railing As he takes a cold attack His vision blurs against the rain He feels a sharp and blinding pain And as he sprawls across the deck He takes a look up at the sky And makes a silent promise Not to let his spirit die He spits into the face of death And whispers underneath his breath, "Oh, Hazel, wait for me!" And he looks out at the sea And he says, "Let me put my hands against the sky And feel the universe I want to grasp the stars up in the dark And let the light disperse" And as he waltzed with planets Many miles from shore Never certain just exactly What it is he's searching for Hazel waits She stands out on the dock Looking for a sign Hoping he'll return soon Hoping that he's fine And she says, "Let me put my hands against the sky And feel the universe I want to grasp the stars up in the dark And let the light disperse" And as he waltzed with planets Many miles from shore Never certain just exactly What it is he's searching for Hazel waits
